So I've changed my mind, I won't be releasing the album on november 3rd. Mostly because I realize it's kind of weird to put something out on a sunday. BUT, it's still coming out in November. Most likely the 22nd. This gives me plenty more time to work on the art side of things.

Anyway, instead of a full album on the 3rd, I'll release the lead single:

Astraligious

It's a hella fun bop, super bright and it's the first track on the album. Honestly the album is just full of fun beats... can't wait for y'all to hear everything!! I want to make an update video for my youtube channel as well where I will be revealing much more information about the title, aesthetic, length, etc. Which will be coming before October is over :)

It's been a tradition of sorts for me to release music on my birthday, and after a period of downtime this year I have picked production back up tenfold and making lots of progress. So I think it's gonna be happening again this year woohoo!

I will have to plan out when to start rolling out promotion...

But, anyway, the initials for the album are "HM". It's gonna have a hand drawn aesthetic. And that's all I will reveal :B

I was listening to deadmau5 again lately, burning CDs n stuff. I got inspired. Made this in less than 2 hours. Extremely happy with how it came out. The vibe is so fun! I can't wait for you all to hear it! :D

i saw in my head today the image of a guy, but i had to wait until i was off work, so now i have some sketches of him. i think he is the embodiment of how i see the certain things, but also a perverse love for the ordinary. it's hard to describe perfectly, but here it is anyway. i just love messy men.

idk. i want to be part of a project so my music gets heard, but also it sucks not having motivation to make any.

not to say that would happen, because i can work with deadlines. i mean outside of having never worked on something big, it's me versus algorithms you know?

but if i were making it for a game, there'd be a genuine guarantee that others are gonna listen and hell even *like* it.

i have been away from the studio for longer than i want. i never did find any new plugins rip. but i can't stand not making new music. so. back to the old habits i guess.

here's some fun names i gave a few of the plugins so far! i love having the freedom to do this, it really is like a small part of the creation process but also brings me so much joy~

anyway, i'm on the road for creating track 2!! i have the intro, verse, chorus, and second verse lined up. so it's gonna take a day or 2 to finish, but i think i got it! there are points when i am making stuff where i think "man... this just isn't good enough!" and i "scrap" it. but sometimes i go back and rework stuff, and i end up salvaging it!

what usually helps me not lose motivation and keep producing is taking breaks!! and *not* thinking about the songs!! somehow, when I return, I have like a whole new perspective on the song. now, this won't always work, but at least when i return i will be more certain whether or not I want to keep working on it.

after i finish this song imma have to get some new plugins to change my landscape a bit. i want to be able to evolve my music in different ways. but sometimes i feel lost because there's so much out there... and i absolutely cannot afford any paid plugins right now, so that limits my options even further. but i know i will prevail!

2024 will be a good year :)

I guess, I think, perhaps, I will start to talk about the journey for project "HM" (my planned 5th feature length LP)

right now I have a solid aesthetic I want for it, including the album title, art direction, title themes, and even a "maskot" (spelled with a k on purpose; it's part of the fun of the album!)

"Krax Skuld" is now a finished song, I just gotta continue to make a shit ton of new music...

I am planning for yet another birthday release; aka I have less than a full year to make the tracks.

but I think I can do it, because I have a lot of plans that will push me to discover a lot more and be able to make a more diverse album than ever before.

it's all exciting as hell, I can't wait to go on this journey, and I will continue to talk about the project as it progresses!!
